Introducing the Danger Dolls!

I'm updating this piece as a way of letting everyone know that the first Danger Doll comic is almost ready to go! Thanks to all who contributed and encouraged me!

This figures in this drawing were done by and I placed them over an old background I had. This is a drawing of the basic Danger Doll team led by Blue Belle with Masked Americana and her sidekick Chickfighter. Intern Kunoichi Kei being used as bait to lure them into a trap. These are the original Danger Dolls and here are their bios.

Molly Whipple, aka Chickfighter, is an impetuous and sometime impertinent slender young woman with a blond bob who wants to follow in the footsteps of her mentor Masked Americana to become a wrestler and superheroine, not to mention action movie star.

Molly is an earnest, eager and energetic ingenue who discovers that she has been genetically engineered with enhanced abilities and so she endeavors to actually become the pink persona of the wrestling superheroine she portrays on television.

"I'm the queen of B and I kick A!"

Tiffany Truesdale, aka Masked Americana, is the young Chickfighter's guardian and mentor.

Wealthy socialite Tiffany Truesdale is Molly Whipple’s guardian. Tiffany is a thrill seeker with time and money. She wears a mask and calls herself "Masked Americana" so she can retain her anonymity while pursuing the dangerous nocturnal activities of being a wrestler and superheroine.

In addition to her wrestling skills, Masked Americana wears a power belt that allows her to control and magnify her body's electromagnetic field. She can throw bolts of electricity, create magnetic fields, etc. Masked Americana of course does not use her special powers to wrestle... that would not be fair! She is the SHOCK (Super Heroes Of Crazy Kombat) women’s wrestling champion!

Susan MacDuff, aka Blue Belle, is the original Danger Doll reality television superheroine and founder of the Danger Doll team.

Susan MacDuff went straight from college where she had competed in modern pentathlon to working for the brash new Danger Doll Satellite Television (DDSTV). She earned the nickname "Blue Belle" after she was attacked on camera and subsequently subdued some white slaver traffickers whose crimes she was uncovering for the sensationalist network.

Susan became a star as the reality television superheroine Blue Belle! The ratings hungry network decided to use this programming model to attract more viewers. This quickly developed into Susan's own reality television program entitled "Danger Doll," in which a hi-tech hover camera followed the exploits of the superheroine Blue Belle and broadcast them uninterrupted to the world! Susan recruited friends like Masked Americana and Chickfighter to team with her and the Danger Dolls team was created.

Kei Kishimoto is a student from Japan who came to live with Susan MacDuff on an exchange program. Kei desperately wants to be a superheroine like Blue Belle and eventually talked Susan into letting her be the Danger Dolls intern.

Kei comes from a ninja clan and actually has amazing ninja skills, including a savant-like natural aptitude for turning everyday objects into weapons. Kei hopes to prove herself to Belle and become an official full member of the Danger Doll team. Unfortunately her efforts frequently result with her getting into serious trouble.

“But I don't want to be an assassin like Uncle Yugi!”


The Danger Dolls are coming in 2013! They will bring with them heart, hijinks and humor, not to mention a big helping of hope. If you like action, peril or costume malfunctions you will enjoy the Danger Dolls!
