Snake Eats Mouse

When the government needs to obtain something outside its jurisdiction they call Lucky Lucy, the renown escape artist, to revive her alter ego, Mouse, the renown thief. Her mission this time was to retrieve the computer chip from a spy satellite that had crashed on an island off North Korea. With neither Dennis Rodman nor Seth Rogen available Mouse was of course the obvious choice. The North Korean military had the island under surveillance making it impossible to approach without being spotted.

So clever little Mouse donned her gold bikini and swam into the caverns beneath the island, ignoring the stories of the Japanese fishermen that a huge snake dwelt there. Even worse for Mouse her sinister and silent rival, the mime Silencieux, had been hired by the Russians to retrieve the same chip. So it was that Lucy found herself chloroformed by one of the mime's trademark silken handkerchiefs.

He left her bound in more of the same blood red silk to occupy the snake while he went to retrieve the chip. Despite her escape artist skills Lucy found the silk bindings mystifying. There were no knots or seams. It was as if the silk had been woven in place. She had scant little time to ponder this before the snake was upon her even as the mime's light moved away through the other tunnel. That fiend, Silencieux, had bested her again and if Mouse didn't think of something quickly it was about to be a truly crushing defeat.
